I absolutely Love Womenswear designer Nicola Morgans designs!!!!!

I recently came across Morgans designs on the net although very little info on her you can view a taster of the pure talent. RCA graduate Nicola Morgan, the designer (not novelist) is climbing that fashion ladder, One to watch!!!!!!! Morgans fate is written as it seems, she is destined for greatness just look at her past attributes. Winner of The BDC New designer of the year award,The British Council MA scholarship, Umbro Award and her latest The graduate fashion week innovation Award.

I was entranced by the organic shaped that sculpt the body and the way, Morgans womenswear has a beautiful yet feminine emanation of Morgans two themes: Fashion and jewellery taken from the Collection entitled "Tension".

Morgans designs are alluring and i for one cannot wait to see her next collection and wish her all the best in the future.

Ravensbourne Reputation is Flying High!!!!!!!!!!!!

As always, June is that time when third year students get to shine. Why?????

They get to present their final Projects and establish their unique branding. This year was no different, well actually there was one tiny, TINY difference Ravensbourne excelled with their own in-house fashion show live.

This years, graduates featured work of a professional calibre which boosted the university's credential and left the graduates open to new doors of success!

Sef Farrugia

Maltese Knitwear Designer, creation are very captivating, vivid and widely appreciated so this years collection boasts a taster of what can be expected from Farrugia. One look at her sketchbook and you get transported into such a surreal world of Farrugia's trains of thoughts. Absolutely amazing!

Watch out for her!!!!!!

Hannah Withington

Hannah Withington is building up quite a good reportoire, she has interned for the fabulous Mark Fast, inspired Ted Bakers latest designs and many more projects all at once. She has featured on blog: Knitkicks.co.uk showing earlier works and judging from her graduate shows, Withington can only excel. I wish her every success in the future!!!!

Naomi Rowe

Naomi Rowe is a girl of many talents and many career options so she need never worry. That being said Don't you just <3 what she has created. This collection is so succesful and considering the amount of development and redirection went into garment making, i am not surprised. This collection is designed with the combination of cut and sew and fully fashioning design techniques. Hand sewn in some area's. Loving the easy to wear, s/s 2011 look!

Knit 4 brains!!!!!!!!!

Knitting sometimes wreaks havoc with sanity....check out the last knit!
I own no rights to the post below but absolutely adore this short animation. Hope you do tooo.....!!!!!!!!!!

The Digital Age: Advantage or disadvantage????

First of all what is the Digital Age? When a break down  would be a better way to explain to you.'Digital' is the opposite of analog. You remember those old fashion alarm clocks when technology has evolve. You must have heard the word digital being tossed around so easily.

Age is to show an era or time period so to simplify, i am talking about a Technological time where society and people are influenced by Technology.

The Digital Age has brought about Downloading of entertainment content such as movies and music, 3Dimension films ( that give the illusion of being real) , blogging, virtual online content such as kindle, smart phones such as I phone and Sam sung Galaxy and Arts which  present new innovative ideas and promise of evolution in its finest.

The Digital Age has even influenced fashion. The most common type of Digital Age within Fashion is Digital Printing. Digital Print is very alluring at the moment as it offers the fashion world many positives. However there are many questions looming about with regards to the Digital Age.

The prospect of Digital Age is very concerning as with the pro's there are quite a bit of cons. Inconvenient or convenient? # Thought: For all the time saved, a machine takes away from the knowledge of 'How to'. Will we become lazy? Have audio to read for us so why read manually???
What are your views??
